Wandering Theologist: April 2006

Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Those eager to exploit differences between blacks and whites in America ignore the fact that the differences have all but vanished. One might as well complain about the gas mileage of a 1959 Edsel.". New White House Press Secretary (former Fox news anchor), Tony Snow, speaking on the issue of Race in America. POMOnks: May 2005

http://pomonks.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html

Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Jana(my fiancee) and I visited Stephen's church last night. They are expanding to grow along with the membership and so Stephen is getting a bigger youth room. We talked for awhile about how he'll set up the new room once it's finished. Stephen talked about creating Sacred Space for his youth. Why am I thinking about this? So here's my question- What should sacred space for a community look like? Tim in the Margins.

POMOnks: Focused Craziness

http://pomonks.blogspot.com/2006/06/focused-craziness.html

Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Friday, June 16, 2006. There's much I could update our loyal few readers on these days. I haven't posted since before going to Passport. With the youth of Emory Pres. That was a bittersweet week. I thought the camp was great, but it was tough saying goodbye to a group of kids I really enjoyed being with. Thursday I started my new position as Director of Student Ministries at First United Methodist Church of Monroe, Georgia.

Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Gas In McDonough GA. Posted by Mary Liz Ingram @ 10:22 PM. Is scary but I'm also kinda excited as well. Maybe now we'll really have to consider ways to use less gas. I've already got a feeling I'll be buying a bicycle in the near future. Our usage habits of gasoline will truly change only when the economics dictate it. I think we may finally be reaching that point. Posted by Adam Phelan @ 1:42 PM. The answer i...

Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Monday, June 12, 2006. A Good Question, A Great Book. I promised myself that I would not read any other books this summer until I had completed The Brothers Karamazov. Well, so much for that promise. Last week I read a review in The Christian Century. Of Barbara Brown Taylor's new book, Leaving Church. Which contains many nuggets of Quaker wisdom. That is, until I read Leaving Church. What is killing you? Books We Are Reading. Blog of a ...

Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Friday, August 04, 2006. This is an Interesting Jewish Perspective. I really like this perspective, this seems closer to Biblical Judaism than this bullcrap nationalism coming from Washington, the Christian Right and the Republican Financial Backers. Check this out. Posted by Mary Liz Ingram @ 7:23 PM. Not the best place to post this, but I could not find your e-mail address. I'll try calling you later when I find your number. Thanks.

Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Wednesday, July 05, 2006. This Blog has, indeed, been quiet recently. Did you exchange a walk on part in a war for a lead role in a cage? Friday, September 29, 2006. So Phil asked if we are still alive. Indeed we are. Recently we've all just been too busy living life to pause and write about it. I saw on our fantasy football message board that Brad is now the proud father of a baby girl. Congrats man! Please post pics when you can. Stephen is back to juggling school and work. I don't miss those days at all. The Fray: How to Save a Life. The All American Rejects: Move Along.

Bumbling stumbling steps down the Thorny Path. Uncertainty, confusion, and ecstasy. April 10, 2014 by Leathra. This post…will likely be long. And odd. I’ve wrestled with myself long and hard about whether to write…and if I do, how much do I write? Keep it in mind when I give you your second chance. You know what happens if you don’t.” Well I do: nothing changes. In plain text that sounds bullying or threatening, but the tone was very much one of wryness and…indulgement? Go to your lord.
