Giant Buddha : PO LIN MONASTERY. June 5, 2012. We waited in a Disneyland length line to ride a gondola shared with nuns up to Po Lin Monastery. Visiting this monastery was cool for two reasons:. 1 Maggie’s grandma belongs to it and her name is chiseled somewhere at the top. 2 There is a GIANT Buddha sitting at the top of the mountain. Just straight chilling. This took much longer than expected. Maggie doing her thing and white people learning. A graveyard for incense. From → Hong Kong.
