Its time to clean up. March 19th, 2009. Boracay Beach, Malay, Aklan. I walk through old places. Hear drumbeats and meet new faces. Taste the alcohol and your saltwater kiss. Witness stolen glances and smiles I nearly miss. In the cold water, under a burning sun. Strange stories and stranger songs are being sung. I love these split second memories. Under the slow midday sun. There's a lot of laughter. And some awkward tears. The thrill of letting go. But still the bigger fear. Of falling in too deep.
