Thursday, September 29, 2011. The 5K Zoo Run. Is on Saturday. It's supposed to be perfect weather for jogging among lions, tigers, bears, penguins, polar bears, giraffes and monkeys. I've been battling a little plantar fasciitis in my left foot/heel. It's so weird, it doesn't really. The packet pick-up for the Zoo Run was at the New Balance store. I decided to get some new arch supports while I was there. Well, New Balance is pretty proud of their fancy pants arch supports. Find something else to buy.

This is my exercise journey. I am a lazy person at heart, but have always wanted to be fit and trim and look good in a bikini (though I would NEVER, EVER wear one). I have found running to be a great fit for me, because while I thrive on having people around me, there's something about being alone with only my thoughts and God on a run.
