If you plan on going to Japan, and think that you can survive with free WiFi services because you did your research and was told that there's several of those services available, THINK TWICE! Conclusion: get your prepaid data SIM card or get a Personal WiFi at airport. I know that 6800 Yen for 3Gb of data seemed expansive at time, but this is an essential investment.
