The Heit Happenings: May 2013
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Here's all the steps I took for the cake pops, if anyone is interested. Bake the cake as the box says. Crumble it up in a bowl and add a couple scoops of frosting. I chose yellow cake and chocolate frosting because I like how they taste together. Roll into balls and then stick them in the freezer for 15-20 minutes so they hold their shape without crumbling. I used some yellow chocolate for the hair. First I dipped them, like so. And then I let that set. Nice teeth that Chels got fr...

The Heit Happenings: February 2013
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 21, 2013. Where is February going? This is the reading spot. Daddy made up this little game to help Chelsea remember our address. We learned our phone number as well. I'm impressed with her remembery. Here is our little Valentine's Day Fairy. Isn't she so cute? I helped her get the hat and wings and socks on, but only after she brought them to me and made it clear what she wanted done with them. Sideways, but still so adorable. And of course they had to race! Three, two, one, GO! I was...

The Heit Happenings: March 2014
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 6, 2014. Tidbits from January, February, and March. The girls have been loving play doh, much to mommy's dismay. (I just don't like cleaning it up, bleh). On a day that was not sub-zero temperatures, we sent the girls (and Daddy) out to build a fort. I understand that they don't want kids slipping and falling so they make the floors of the play area rough, but I don't think the floors should draw blood! Even with a few scrapes, everyone loved it! We got TWO new members of the family!

The Heit Happenings: October 2013
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 22, 2013. September and Part of October. Chelsea's School pictures came back. SO CUTE! She's so happy to have her chance to go to class and dance. She does really well, too! I had all three girls with Q-tip ears, but I promised Chelsea I wouldn't post it. She's starting to get embarrassed by the pictures of her that I put on the blog and on Facebook. Sigh. Oh well. I didn't make any promises to Brie! I like this sandbox full of corn instead of sand. Abby in the corn. Ready to eat dinner!

The Heit Happenings: July 2013
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 2, 2013. The girls got to eat ice cream and WATERMELON flavored Oreos for a snack last week. They didn't even go to the table before chowing. They just had a kitchen floor picnic. This is the same night as the kitchen floor picnic. They are being a train. We had some backyard fun for FHE last night. The girls were SO cute and they had so much fun running around and trying to get Daddy wet. The popsicles were a big hit, too. Posted by Rick, Erin, and girls. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Heit Happenings: Second Half of December 2014
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2015/04/second-half-of-december-2014.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. Second Half of December 2014. This is definitely the month of making and eating goodies! The girls got to make and decorate sugar cookies with Auntie Jennifer. After that they got to make and decorate Reece's (and Hershey kiss) chocolate trees. Blogger likes to scramble my photos so they are a little out of order. Director and supervisor, Auntie Jennifer. Sprinkles make everything better. If a few sprinkles are good, than MANY sprinkles are better, yes? This one went to Chelsea.

The Heit Happenings: January 2015, A New Year!
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2015/04/january-2015-new-year.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. January 2015, A New Year! Abby wasn't sure about Blue Raspberry walking up her arm toward her face. Her fingers were just a little small and unsteady for the bird's liking, but Abby's arm was just fine! Brie was so proud of herself holding the bird. The birds hadn't come out of their cage much as they were getting used to us and their new environment. I love how gently Abby is touching the bird, and how the bird is watching her very closely. Ha! The Heit Happenings: February and March 2015
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2015/04/february-and-march-2015.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. February and March 2015. It's well past time for a haircut! My before and afters. This is definitely the most I've ever cut off at one time, but I'm not sorry! I actually need to go back and take a few more inches off. I was tentative initially, but it's quickly become an awkward length that interferes with my collar more than I like. People seem to like it though. And I do too! Here's their "room.". At first Abby called the guinea pigs "skinny pigs." We all have lovingly ad...

The Heit Happenings: April 2014
http://chelseaboo.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2014. For our Easter dinner contributions we made some chocolate dipped strawberries. They are orange because they are supposed to resemble carrots. Get it? They don't look overly carrot-y but the girls had a great time dipping, and that was most important anyway. Chelsea and Abby prefer plain strawberries and Brie doesn't like strawberries at all, so they didn't really eat them. But the rest of us enjoyed them! Have I ever mentioned how hard it is to get these girls to eat? It took Ab...
