We are so excited to have this first experience of Christmas with Kate! We can't wait to see how she reacts to opening presents and being around all of our family members. I can already anticipate that she will be far more entertained with the wrapping paper and boxes as opposed to her gifts, but that is fine with me. As long as she is happy, so are we!

Monday, December 3, 2007. I think Kate is finally over her first ever cold! She slept through the night last night and seems to be herself again. She still has a little bit of a runny nose, but I think she is much better. I didn't know a cold could last 10 days! There is nothing I could do for her except use the bulb syringe and she hates that! Anyway, hopefully things are back to their norm for a while and we steer clear of any more colds for a while! Look at those big blue eyes. Hope all is well!

Thursday, May 15, 2008. First "Hike" in the Forest Preserve. Yes, crows can mimick human speech - who knew? Miles enjoyed the kiddie corner where they had fun puzzles and stuffed animals. Saturday, September 20, 2008. Wobbly Steps, Football Season, and Visiting w/ Cousins. Mason is now 9 months old (will be 10 months on the 25th) and has been "cruising" around the house for several weeks! Today, September 20, we caught his first ASSISTED steps with his walker on tape! Check it out. he is still a bit wobbly, but I'm sure with a little more practice he will have it mastered! We are so excited that football season is FINALLY here!
