Saturday, July 3, 2010. Travelling by bicycle is hard work. After a long day of pedalling we like to see how many bergens and animals we can squeeze in one room and all lay on the floor. Today I don't have time to put up a picture, but I thought I'd send along this recipe which has won rave reviews in a household where anything with squash in it rarely gets the time of day. From the Simply in Season Cookbook. I used butterCUP squash instead of butterNUT because I've had six of these squash hanging around for months! Chances are they will ALL be used towards this recipe before winter is done with us. 1 1/2 lb boneless pork (cut in 3/4in. cubes). 3 C chicken broth.

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. A Gift from who? I bought this chair for myself and dressed it up as a gift from Derek so that I wouldn't feel so bad about it. But for $35 who really feels bad? Derek came home, read the tag and asked who gave me a rocking chair because it certainly wasn't him. Monday, July 12, 2010. I wanna hold your hand. Lately it's been hard to get Luke to hold hands with an adult when crossing the street, or walking in the parking lot. When I say, "You have to hold hands in the parking lot. Hold my hand." Luke says, "No, I hoge my own hand", and clasps his hands together in front of his tummy.
