Yippity Yap: Dog Day
http://yippity-yap.blogspot.com/2010/11/dog-day.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. It started with just one yesterday morning. I wasn't really planning to do much more then that as I had some other stuff to get done. But, somehow, it turned into two. I guess I thought the little guy would be lonely or something and I HAD to make another. Well you know how these things go. It was something like WHAM.suddenly there were five. All in the same direction. I think its time to make some facing the other way. Don't you think? November 7, 2010 at 1:25 PM. He's a shy, t...

Geek Knitter: What We Saw
http://geekknitter.blogspot.com/2009/05/what-we-saw.html
A long ramble, looking at life through yarn-covered glasses. Friday, May 29, 2009. I’m so very glad that I got the chance to be impulsive last weekend. The trip was everything we could have asked for. The weather was nothing short of perfect, and we never ran out of things to see. I have no idea how many miles (kilometers? We walked, but it was worth the sore calves. Plane spotting at the Inner Harbor. At Government House are open to the public, and they are a wonder to behold. The Swiftsure Yacht Race.

Geek Knitter: Impulse
http://geekknitter.blogspot.com/2009/05/impulse.html
A long ramble, looking at life through yarn-covered glasses. Thursday, May 21, 2009. Sometimes it all gets to be a bit much, doesn’t it? Pressure at work, tough things going on at home, and lets not even talk about the news. Sometimes you just need to throw your bags in the truck. We drove north all day, until we go to the ferry. Sun in Vancouver Island. Sometimes you just need to be impulsive. Posted by Geek Knitter. May 21, 2009 at 8:06 PM. May 21, 2009 at 8:16 PM. May 22, 2009 at 12:38 AM. Have a grea...

Baby Knitting | GeekKnitter
https://geekknitter.wordpress.com/2009/02/20/baby-knitting
Ramblings of a knitter who reads too much. Prize Drawing and a Public Service Announcement. Rainy Days Mean No Photos →. February 20, 2009. You know, considering my blissfully child-free state, it seems as though I do quite a bit of baby knitting. I blame my co-workers. In an agency with a 95% female workforce, at least one of them is expecting every year. Honestly, does this look like a half-finished baby jacket to you? Didn’t think so. I’m not sure exactly what it does. But, as EZ advised in the patter...

Everyday Autumn: October 2008
http://everydayautumn.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Yeah, you. Have you played in the leaves yet this fall? It's a lot of fun. We've had plenty of leaf kicking, pumpkin baking (muffins, cake, bread, pancakes.), family visiting, and craft making the last few weeks. Little Mina turned 3 last Sunday, and she's been walking around singing "hap booday ti you! I used one-inch elastic for the waist rather than ribbon, and my strips were several layers thick. It didn't take long, and I think it's the cutest tutu ever. I combined green t...

Everyday Autumn: August 2009
http://everydayautumn.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 21, 2009. Eight months. how much can change in eight months? A lot I didn't mean to take such a long break from this blog, but sometimes things happen that way. And honestly, I don't know that I am fully "back." But I did want to take a moment to say hello, out there. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
