Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Open Letter to GW. This letter train started at 3 is the new black. Is authored by Australian players (myself and Kirby amongst others), and needs to be read, understood and passed on. To Games Workshop,. No seriously, why? Hows that going btw? Does this mean we are going to now buy at RRP in Australia or other countries? Sunday, May 15, 2011. So I have embarked on painting these white bad boys, and I have 2 test models left to do. Of course, I have to finish the Captain as well :).

New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie: Finished the base troops...
http://new-scars.blogspot.com/2010/01/finished-base-troops.html
New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Finished the base troops. Here are some shots of the base troops that I finished up. Could use a little more practice on my blending technique on this one:. For all of them, I've used the Tamiya Weatherine Master, Set D, to add the grease stains, as you can see below:. I find that the weathering set really adds some nice detail that really stands out on the white. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Mad Mad World Of Sculptor Jeff Wilhelm.

http://new-scars.blogspot.com/2010/01/first-7.html
New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Here are some pics of the first 7 White Scars that I've painted. This is the first 7 models that I've ever painted, so cut me a little slack. Here are the next 7 models (assembly-line fashion) that I worked on. Hopefully I'll be able to post more in time. New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie: WS Termies
http://new-scars.blogspot.com/2010/01/ws-termies.html
New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Well, after I finished the basic troops, I needed to desperately work on something slightly different, and since the Terminators were the next best choice, I picked those up. Here's the next 5, with a white coat already done and the first coat of Mechrite Red:Blood Red mix put on the armor (some touch-ups needed):. The arms/weapons have their final coat of White, but still need some red on them:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie: May 2010
http://new-scars.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie. Sunday, May 30, 2010. White Scars. Dreadnought? In February Krystle and I had a 2000-point objective game over at Zac's (that ended in a draw! Of course, neither of us has a 2000-point army, so we had to borrow a few models from Zac and Ian to get the full 2000-points. But, since I had my dreadnought from the 40K starter kit primed and base coated (and since they weren't anal-retentive about us using unpainted models) I pulled him out to use with the rest of WS army.

New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie: Newbie on White Scars...
http://new-scars.blogspot.com/2010/01/newbie-on-white-scars.html
New Scars: Tales of a Khan Newbie. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Newbie on White Scars. Yep, I'm a newbie. Last August a friend and my girlfriend (Krystle) walked into the local GamesWorkshop store and immediately fell in love with the game. So Krys dragged me along to it a couple weeks later, and we both ended up buying a starter kit and a hardcover rules book. We then traded units (I took the Space Marines and she took the lowly Orks). And so it began. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bolt Action Firs...

Daughters of the Emperor. Stahly's Paint Station. The Bell of Lost Souls. The Hogs of War. First impressions of Finecast. Of worldwide logistics, Games Workshop released their resin range this Saturday. Getting copies of 100 kits to the retailers can’t be easy. And it shows. Quality control certainly isn’t what I expect from GW. I actually saw a Urien Rakarth that had a “spider’s web” of flash all over the sprue. That said I’m. Great Finecast reviews I found yesterday:. Maz at Winterdyne is underwhelmed.
