Mona & Co: April 2011
http://www.mona-and-co.net/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Fortunately that all finished by about 8.30pm. Before that though, we had gone to Mathinna Falls, (north-west of St Marys). We even had to negotiate some low-range 4WD stuff because of the damage done by the recent floods of the South Esk River. The Falls were very impressive (not that large though), probably more picturesque. Cecile B de Bond in action. The lengths he will go to get THAT photo! The debris from the floods. We did a bit of local exploring on Saturday, going to Eva...

Mona & Co: March 2011
http://www.mona-and-co.net/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 24, 2011. Tasman Peninsula - The Coal Mines - Port Arthur. When in Tourist Mode - do what the tourists do. A Tasmanian Tour wouldn't be complete without the near-mandatory visit to Port Arthur. (At least we didn't do the other touristy thing of standing in front of EVERY scene taken by the camera! Today's blog covers the Tasman Peninsula in general, and The Coal Mines and Port Arthur in detail. The historic Dunalley Pub. Uh-uh There's no such thing as a free lunch, right? Before we 'did' ...

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. G'day - Ian again. Alice Springs has been a mix of disappointments and exciting times. As I said earlier, same price but MUCH better than a CVP. So what did we actually do? Hey - LOTS of TOURISTY things like . We scaled the Anzac Lookout (in Suzi on a made road). We mooched Todd Mall. We went out to the near West Macs to visit Simpson's Gap. We went to the Sunday Markets in Todd Mall. We visited the Araluen Cultural Centre. (Now we got Kultcha! REAL men's secret business!

Mona & Co: September 2009
http://www.mona-and-co.net/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 29, 2009. G'day - Ian again. Ipswich has been our base for a while, now, and today is the day to move on again. While here we have managed to catch up on things like washing clothes AND Suzi. A minute's silence as we remember Suzi in all her mud-splattered, battle-scarred, off-road-cred and glory, now reduced to just another Toorak Tractor - wussy-fussy clean and shiny, with no indication it has even been onto dirt roads. Sigh! Would have been Bunnings but they are too far away! Machin...
