A family of five, together enjoying the life our Lord has blessed us with. Monday, January 26, 2015. After a weekend of camping for Labor Day, we brought Noah Runner home with us for his annual birthday stay at the farm. This is an obstacle course we set up. They each took their turn on their bike and I timed them from start to finish. Noah kept track of their times, and then ranked them all at the end of the race. Aleah came in 3rd place. Natalie came in 2nd. And Noah took home 1st place! My babe and me!

On to the blessed happenings in the Fast household during April. He hasn't changed a bit! Aleah:...

Friday, March 7, 2014. February was full of fun, and once again, I'm baffled at how quickly it flew by. Daddy returned home from his missions trip to Haiti. His time there was spent building houses with a group of men from our church. Maybe I can get him to dedicate a post to his trip with some stories and pictures!

A family of five, together enjoying the life our Lord has blessed us with. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. This past week or so I have been able to take in a bunch of things I love about winter. Here are just a few:. There is absolutely NOTHING like a day outside when there is snow all around, no wind, and the sun shining. So peaceful. Absolute quiet. Content. Ahhhh. Gingerbreadman cookies. Enough said. White christmas lights strewn all about the house creating a feeling of absolute coziness. Papa and Nana...

A family of five, together enjoying the life our Lord has blessed us with. Sunday, November 4, 2012. Stuck in a Rut, Making tracks (2011). Our 2011 farm year started with a record snow fall, nearly 10 ft of snow. Snow around our bins in early march. Farming begins and not what we expected to find in the fields. The worst parts were the side hills where springs showed up. Natalie even played in the mud like daddy. Heavy rains caused the creek to almost come out of the banks. These tires are about 6 ft tall.
