All about cars made with a two stroke engine. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Been looking for 2 years and got myself another Trabbi. The car is a June 1990, one of the last 601's built. It was exported to Hungary and came to the UK in 2009. It was sold to an aircraft mechanic, who gave it 6 coats of old English white 2k paint, with an orange roof and wheels. The hubs were also painted in high temperature polyurethane paint. I've recently purchased the car. More pics and info to follow. Tuesday, June 5, 2012.

All about cars made with a two stroke engine. Saturday, April 28, 2012. My 311 has been sold. I've sold my 311 and it's going to the UK, to an enthusiastic collector of GDR vehicles. The new owner has a Zwickau P70 and an IFA F9 among others in his collection, so the 311 will be in good company. I've recently bought a Simson Schwalbe 50cc scooter. Engine runs exceptionally well. It's a 1981 model that was brought to Ireland by its Hungarian owners. With the cover removed to show engine. Cold War my foot!

My book " Two Stroke Car's of the Past" has been approved by the publishers, all that remains is for me to receive a proof copy, check it and give the go ahead if happy with it. I should have copies to send in 2-3 weeks. I will also make the book available to buy on cd, which will be a cheaper option.
