http://volsminiatures.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A Miniatures Hobby Room. A blog site dedicated to the wargame miniatures hobby. Monday, September 15, 2014. GHQ 22 Gun Post Ship HMS Laurel. Here is a 22 gun ship from GHQ. It can be modeled either as a sloop of war or a 6th rate post ship. The HMS Laurel was a post ship and this is the name I picked for the model. The Laurel carried 22 nine pounders on her upper gun deck. The model has no guns on the forecastle or quarterdeck, another reason I picked the Laurel. A Miniatures Hobby Room. The Tides of War.

It has been a while since I posted anything. Spring came early and the Honey Doos sort of put a halt to the work in the shipyard. But the recent record high temperatures in the Northwest and the fact I caught another cold has allowed me to spend some time for my current passion, Napoleonic ships. Forecastle: 6 brass long 12 pounders'. Broad...

A Miniatures Hobby Room. A blog site dedicated to the wargame miniatures hobby. Sunday, October 12, 2014. Yesterday I attended the 2nd day of the Tactical Solutions convention in Spokane Valley. It was my first time at this convention and I got to meet a lot of good people. Unfortunately there were no Napoleonic Naval games (I was asked to put one on but I chickened out). There was a Lego Pirate game and a WWII naval game. This was another Saga setup with a really nice fort. A Miniatures Hobby Room.
