Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. Yesterday my boat was peeled open like a sardine can today we went around in circles for hours and other than those that retired we were last both races. Vita Brevis is still hanging around 10th spot and is at least showing some ability. Chug a Lug saw a bunch of reruns due to rule infractions. Tassie ended up wih the title. I’m off to bed as I’m stuffed and full of piss again. Feed You can leave a response. From your own site. I haven...

Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. And look at this. There’s a new post already:. Congratulations to the winning ladies team from WA also. The black plastic was considered a sacred sight for the camera and no photographic evidence exists we hope. Lets face it, the carnage witnessed by spectators has scarred them all. Missing you all on and off the water. This entry was posted on Sunday, January 13th, 2008 at 4:16 pm and is filed under Sharpies. From your own site. I hav...

Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. Of course many more stories and lies were told on the lawn and in the bar afterwards. Maggie Downing handed out the winners Pennants and a few Kisses after. The bell was rung by several skippers along with the starter Andy Curnow for a slight hiccup with the start sequence. October | 2009 | westernsail
https://westernsail.wordpress.com/2009/10
Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. October 6, 2009. We were treated to a gentle 8 to 12 knot South westerly for the MBSC Opening. This made it a friendly intro to the season and barely washed the cobwebs off the gunwales. Once again the lawn was full with the usual suspects, regular visitors the i14s and a surprise addition of 6 Contenders gracing our shores. Informal races for Mudlarks in the morning, 1. New to the club this year. A band of 5 have begun training an...

Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. If you want to sell something – perhaps last year’s white sailing uniform that you can no longer squeeze into on account of all the pies you ate over winter, or your redundant i14, or an old spinnaker you found at the back of the shed that only smells a little bit of cat wee, then use the reply form below to post details about it. October 21, 2008 at 8:54 am. I14 mast and main. For more info contact James by PM. All sold. thanks. Enter...

Sharpie Nationals | westernsail
https://westernsail.wordpress.com/2010/01/07/sharpie-nationals-4
Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. It is 4am and we have just finished another arduous debrief. Once again the Blur sailed impeccably in another day of 380 wind shifts to take out the title. Vita Brevis had a podium finish after a series of promising starts and ordinary finishes. Impact again well down in 13th place. Proving they have not an ounce of talent. I should hit the hay so I can sleep in and miss my morning flight! 14 days of drinking is tuff on the system.

Western Australia’s traditional favourite sailing website since 2004. Craig’s on the sauce. I have left this unedited to preserve its full integrity:. In true sharpie traditiond it is 1 am and we are blind. Went drinking with brother Dave who was in YuuZoo in the Hobart. Tom Johnson was there and a good night. Left the Colonial at 12.30 ish with regatta favourites Mal Higgans and crew. None of us could walk let a lone talk. On again tomorrow all is fun. Feed You can leave a response. From your own site.

Team Vita Brevis: April 2010
http://team-vita-brevis.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Vita Brevis a member of the West Australian State Sharpie Sailing Team. The boat has been campaigning at a State and National level since it was made. With a State Championship win and 11th place in National Titles the team is aiming to improve to eventually win a National Championship. As winter begins a lot of sailors go into hibernation (or play golf). However the Vita Brevis crew will only be taking a short break before continuing our development program. Our Goal is Simple: Top 5 at Melbourne.
