On a Journey Together. Thursday, July 2, 2009. My first 5k.and THE horrible photo! Me and Jennifer -she is 5'9-after the race THE horrid picture. On June 12th I "ran" my first 5k race. I had been training for 2 months to get to 3.2 miles from running only 1.5 miles. The week before the race I ran 4 miles monday, 2.5 on Wed and played two soccer games Fri. On a Journey Together. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Girls Getaway- Hoffmaster beach! Last weekend Analeah and I got away with some of our best friends, Julie and Sam, to Muskegon for a girls weekend. Saturday afternoon we went to Hoffmaster State park, our family's favorite beach on lake Michigan. We enjoyed some sunshine and then a thunderstorm startinf rolling over the horizon, which created some awesome lighting for pics and lightening in the sky! This is her element! Analeah's footprints as we left.

Just putting up some pics from May of a "campout" David and Jakob went on. it was just the two of them, and they spent a long night with a coyote that kept them up until 1am, because it howled from the edge of their clearing (100 feet way) from mid-night to 1am. Luckily the girls and I had a good nights sleep at home (1/2 mile away). :). Packing last minute goodies.they forgot a couple things, but who needs cups? The boys that make me a happy girl!
