Sunday, November 2, 2014. The kids had a pretty awesome Halloween week! Adalyn had a fall party at preschool on Thursday were she practiced her trick or treating and ate some yummy food. I had fun seeing her in her preschool world. She also got to spend Halloween day at Sarah's house were they got some afternoon trick or treating in at Park Place in Kirkland, did some art projects and made cookies. The ordinary story of a new family of 5 - plus a dog! Sunday, January 8, 2012. Christmas flew by, it was such a great one! The kids both really BELIEVE this year, without question. This year Santa left foot prints and cookie crumbs in our house too! We were lucky enough to have Nana and Papa come and stay with us and witness the excitement, joy and chaos that is Christmas morning! It all started at 5:51 am (this is the before picture). Almost after - about 6:08 am - just the Santa gifts opened.

The ordinary story of a new family of 5 - plus a dog! Monday, April 9, 2012. To celebrate the coming of spring we took a trip to the Safari Wild Animal Park and saw the butterflies! The kids got up close and personal with them! Oh, and Sarah got her face painted for the first time, I was so proud of how long she stayed so still for the woman painting her face! Here, she is with a Blue Morpho. Butterfly on her finger, it's too bad the butterfly didn't open it's wings, they were fluorescent.
