I drive past this converted, but now empty, service station every day and every time say, "I need to photograph that." Well finally, after three and a half years, I did. To think it's only a kilometre from my house! Posted by Horse Feathers Saddlery. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). See the "About Me" section below for more about what I do. My Facebook Fan Page. tiny purple fish: Artist Statement
http://tinypurplefishphotography.blogspot.com/2007/02/artist-statement.html
Kathleen Fisher was born in a town she never lived in, a small community in Western Australia’s wheatbelt. This may explain her fascination with both notions of home and rural life. She is also attracted to religion — notably Christianity, with its stories, icons and architecture — and history, including the ravages time has on buildings and human emotions. Kathleen has a Bachelor of Arts (English) (Honours) from Curtin University of Technology and a Graduate Certificate of Communications (Photomedia) fr...

PANDORA, National Library of Australia. Posted by Horse Feathers Saddlery. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm Kathleen Fisher — writer and photographic artist. I love to make pictures with my stash of cameras, plastic and "real", and still use film (although I do have a wonderful scanner). This blog is my place to share my creative outlook, techniques and general experiences. I hope you enjoy my journey! See the "About Me" section below for more about what I do. My Facebook Fan Page.

tiny purple fish: Sketch N Draw on the Motorola Xoom Tablet
http://tinypurplefishphotography.blogspot.com/2012/07/sketch-n-draw-on-motorola-xoom-tablet.html
Sketch N Draw on the Motorola Xoom Tablet. Abhishek Kumar's Sketch N Draw application for android is extremely clever, even the free version. It's so much fun and all too easy to grab a few nic-nacs from around the house and get drawing. I love how organic using my finger as a pencil feels. My only frustration is the lack. tiny purple fish: Biography
http://tinypurplefishphotography.blogspot.com/2007/02/biography.html
Kathleen Fisher lives in Yass, a little country town not far from Canberra, Australia's capital. Some would say Kathleen is a junk store addict, but in polite company she prefers the term "collector". However, the fact remains that she has far more cameras than sense, can't resist vintage sewing supplies and keeps ephemera that "might be useful one day" in old suitcases. tiny purple fish: How to Get Waylaid With an Argus Seventy Five
http://tinypurplefishphotography.blogspot.com/2012/11/how-to-get-waylaid-with-argus-seventy.html
How to Get Waylaid With an Argus Seventy Five. Taking photos of goodies to sell on eBay is surprisingly hard, even for a trained photographer. It's almost impossible to get those blown-out white backgrounds, especially without annoying colour casts, when you don't have thousands of dollars of expensive studio equipment. What's more, it's boring . eBay shoppers don't trust creative product photography, as I discovered when I surrounded some equestrian gear with tiny model horses and fences! See the "About...
