All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Thursday, April 17, 2014. All About Things Part 2. The morning of the party was kinda crazy. I planned on the boys taking naps ALL MORNING LONG. Because I planned on it, it did not happen. They barely slept. Thankfully they were great sports, and although looked very tired were pretty happy most of the day. Thing 1 and Thing 2. Lane refused to pose for pictures. Happy Birthday to you, little things! Eli just put a little icing in his hair.

All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Saturday, February 28, 2015. To be honest, it really isn't what I imagined it to be. When I was pregnant with the boys I thought about all the fun things we were going to do: playing in the snow, making crafts, having them help me with dinner, going to the park, cuddling and watching movies, and the list could go on. I never stopped to think about the tantrums, the incessant whining, the schedules, the meals, the mess, the disobedience.

All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Thursday, May 7, 2015. I finally jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon and decided to try making sharpie mugs. What I found when searching the million different posts about making these mugs is that there are about a million different suggestions on what to do. So I decided to just try some different things that were being suggested and thought I would share on here how my experiment turned out. See how the colors faded :/. 4 After the mugs bake...

sew lately: Craft Weekend
http://sewlately.blogspot.com/2015/01/craft-weekend.html
All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Wednesday, January 21, 2015. I got invited by some friends to join them at a girls craft weekend. And we had so much fun! We stayed at an amazing craft house in Newton, KS. It was a crafter's dream. I felt a little like I was in heaven. My bed for the weekend. Isn't this the cutest house? It was so dreamy! A true crafter's paradise. This was in another bedroom, but I just loved the wall decor. The HUGE crafting room. View my complete profile.

sew lately: Boys Turn 2
http://sewlately.blogspot.com/2015/04/boys-turn-2.html
All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. I can't believe the tiny little babes I had are growing up and now 2! How did this happen so quickly? The boys are really into a cute show called Paw Patrol (it's about puppies who rescue other animals or humans) and just dogs in general. So for the 2nd birthday bash we had a Paw Patrol/Puppy Pawty theme. It was a lot of fun. There are so many cute ideas out there for puppy parties. This is my all time favorite pic...

All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Saturday, July 26, 2014. We decided it was time to give up our bedroom to the boys. They needed more space to play, and wrestle, and have long conversations with each other. Piles of all the boys' belongings in the living room. I had no idea how much stuff they had! Since we moved into a smaller room. It feels so much more cozy. It's almost like we are actually sleeping in a cute little cabin :). The boys' new room pretty much just stayed th...

All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Sunday, March 30, 2014. It's midnight. My dreams of planting gardens and fields of wildflowers are suddenly interrupted by a wail. I reach over tiredly to put my glasses on, and I count silently in my head. 1. 2. 3. Oh, yep, there it is, the sound of two cries at the same time. Oh dear," I think. "They are both awake.". I carry him into the kitchen and start making bottles. I scoop the formula in the water and silently ask, "Why? I didn't ca...

sew lately: Winter Recap
http://sewlately.blogspot.com/2015/01/winter-recap.html
All of my adventures from the sewing machine to every day life. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Christmas flew by, the New Year flew by, and we are already almost halfway through January and I haven't blogged about anything! So this is going to just be my recap of all that has happened in the past month. It may even have two parts, because a lot has happened. Christmas morning with his splint. Poor little guy! The next day we had Christmas brunch at our house and I wasn't sure if I would be able to pull it of...
