There are approxmately 120 licensed Cigar Distributors in the State of Massachusetts, each in an equally advantageous position to help solidify the foundation, survival, and growth of our small businesses in the Commonwealth.this is a fight worth the undertaking. We urge all Massachusetts Tobacco Retailers to become Regular Members of the MTRA. Love of the Leaf (and the Leaf Lovers): Where we may be...maybe: A three-hour tour
http://love-of-the-leaf.blogspot.com/2015/08/where-we-may-bemaybe-three-hour-tour.html
Love of the Leaf (and the Leaf Lovers). Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Where we may be.maybe: A three-hour tour. Last year's event was a two-hour tour and that wasn't nearly long enough to chat with everyone you know and love (or want to know and love) and eat delicious foods and smoke one of the many amazing cigars you received. So this year, a three hour tour. I'll be part of "and the rest," so as to remain incognito. I. Won't be wearing gingham- although I am technically a professor, so there's that. 24 Ma...

Love of the Leaf (and the Leaf Lovers): August 2015
http://love-of-the-leaf.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Love of the Leaf (and the Leaf Lovers). Thursday, August 27, 2015. Sorry to have deserted you! My computer deserted me, and the blogger app won't do things the way I like, so my words have remained tucked away in my noggin. But they will soon be free! A new top for my lap. But don't think I've been resting on my laurels, whatever that means. Because quite the opposite! We have lots of fun things coming up- things you can be part of! Things you'll want to be part of! Still love this logo! You've made us h...

The Humidor: August 2008
http://danshumidor.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Eric's Fly Fishing Blog. Two Guys Smoke Shop. Friday, August 8, 2008. Originally introduced in 1998, the CAO Maduro quickly became popular and won "Best Maduro Cigar of 1999.". I bought a CAO Maduro Churchill (7 inches, 48 ring) for $8.00 at Watch City Cigar and sat down to enjoy my last cigar in a quiet house. (My girlfriend hadn't come back from California yet.). As expected, the tastes are bold from the start with rich charred coffee notes like a dark bitter espresso. I complained a lot about bitt...

The Humidor: March 2008
http://danshumidor.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Eric's Fly Fishing Blog. Two Guys Smoke Shop. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. I decided that my first sample of Ashton would be a cigar from the VSG series as the Fuente Family seems to be particularly proud of this one. Advertised as powerful, complex, and rich, it sounded like one I would enjoy. Ashton VSG's wrapper is what draws the most attention. It's grown in a naturally cloudy region of Ecuador (as opposed to artificially cloudy? The cigar cuts very nicely and lights surprisingly well for its size. I...

The Humidor: April 2008
http://danshumidor.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Eric's Fly Fishing Blog. Two Guys Smoke Shop. Monday, April 28, 2008. The V Serie is one of the newer cigars from Olivia. It's wrapper is a sun grown ligero from Nicaragua and the fillers are made of a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. Tonight's smoke is a Churchill Extra for $9.00. Length is 7. Ring is 52. I'm more than halfway through the cigar and bold creamy texture has remained consistent which is pretty impressive. Despite the fact that I wouldn't really classify it as complex, I'm still really enj...

The Humidor: May 2008
http://danshumidor.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Eric's Fly Fishing Blog. Two Guys Smoke Shop. Friday, May 23, 2008. Wednesday, May 14, 2008. This one is known as their powerhouse blend and since I'm a big fan of Camacho and their full bodied smokes, I have been looking forward to this one. As is usual for the Camacho brand, the wrapper, binder, and filler are all made from Jamastran Valley Honduran tobaccos. I bought a super toro for $7.50. Length is 6 inches, ring is size 52. As I get into the second half of the stick, things seem to calm down a litt...
