Nathan & Stephanie: November 2014
http://nalhanandfeenster.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
This picture is from a week or two ago, but I don't feel like my belly has grown much since. Carrying around the extra weight in my abdomen has been quite the experience and I can feel myself slowing down a little bit more each and every day. I have gained a bit of weight. The scale now thinks I am Nathan every time I weigh myself. I find it amusing. We purchased a camera that has night vision to put in the baby's room. We tested it out on Roxie, but all she did was stare at it. I don't think she...

Weight: 10 lbs 3 oz (26%). Length: 21.75 inches (23%). Head circumference: 15.25 inches (71%). This month Sierra received the first round of immunizations. She seemed to handle it pretty well early in the day but then quickly developed a slight fever that made her a little fussy. It stuck around for a day or two but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. She still loves to sleep with her hands up in the air. She has also discovered her thumb and will sometimes try to stick her whole fist into her mouth.

Nathan & Stephanie: August 2012

Nathan worked all summer long and only took time off for our trip to Utah. He even stayed at work when I would tempt him with lunch or when I wanted to go home early (which was almost daily). On one occasion we grabbed lunch at a Wendy's down the street and afterwards I was given a tour of the Supreme Court building. There have been lots of fires in Idaho this year. The largest fires have been burning for almost a month and it is definitely taking a toll on the air quality. It has looked like this. While...

You gotta swim, don't let yourself sink. Just find the horizon, I promise you, it's not as far as you think." -Andrew McMahon. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. What keeps me entertained at work. As most of you know, I work as a receptionist at a salon aimed to please the avid sports fan. I actually really enjoy watching ESPN. When I have a day off, it feels like I get super behind in scores from various sports, this time of year it's NBA and college basketball (and the Super Bowl is this Sunday! 1 point for ...

Nathan & Stephanie: December 2014
http://nalhanandfeenster.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
This is the last belly picture taken on Sunday December 7th. I captured this shot because the sky was amazing and it was such a beautiful morning! Who knew it would be my very last day at work. Nathan watched the entire birth, which was very surprising. I didn't think he would be able to handle it. December 9th at 7:31 PM. 6 lbs 0 oz. This was the view from our recovery room. Nathan's office sent a huge pointsettia to our room at the hospital. It was a very nice surprise. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Nathan & Stephanie: October 2012

Finding time to blog lately has been very difficult. Usually I don't have a very good reason, but this time I do. We got a puppy! We originally tried by adopting a dog from a shelter, but we couldn't find the dog we were looking for. We were looking for four main things:. 1 A female (males tend to pee on furniture). 2 Low shedding (I didn't want hair all over the place, and its better for people with allergies). The puppy we found was a maltipoo, a mix of a maltese. And a toy poodle. I do have to say tha...

Nathan & Stephanie: August 2013
http://nalhanandfeenster.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
We have enjoyed summer as much as we possibly can this year. I thought it was because the weather in Boise is AWESOME but I actually think it is because Nathan is no longer in school. In June we went to Roaring Springs, a water park in Meridian. We went with our good friends and none of us were brave enough to try out the newest addition to the park, the cliff hanger (aka the wedgie machine). Most of our time was spent in the lazy river and wave pool. Since we couldn't get enough of the lazy river at the...

Nathan & Stephanie: March 2013

Changing his diaper was quite the experience. I laid him on the changing table and stared at his diaper's tab for a good couple minutes before I sucked up the courage to do it. I am happy to report that I successfully changed his diaper and did not get peed on in the process. I have completely forgotten about this blog the last few months. I am too lazy to really type much so I will post lots of pictures instead. Here goes! We spent Christmas with Nathan's family in Vienna. We took Roxie to Walmart.
