Water Blogged in Waukesha

Water Blogged in Waukesha. Thursday, October 02, 2014. I Still Feel the Pain. Sixty years ago this week the Cleveland Indians- my team- finished off the greatest season in baseball history. One hundred eleven wins and forty-three losses. Finished nine games ahead of the hated Yankees. Lost the World Series in four. I still feel the pain. Interesting sidelight: the entire World Series took place in a span of less than four days, barely three days, exactly seventy six hours? No day-off for travel. Posted 6...

Tuesday, July 22, 2014. I didn't post yesterday, but we left Southwest Harbor and took the long way to Northeast Harbor, through Sommes Sound. These are pictures I took from there. The scenery was out of this world. A slightly bigger waterfall:. Once we got into Northeast, I found a band that was playing at the top of the dock. Their name is Nite Boat and they play campy, blues-y, folkish stuff. I was really glad I got the boat captain aka Santa! Pics I took from the runway at Bar Harbor:. I took this ne...
