The Bull Pen: ATC's Continued.
http://therennbullpen.blogspot.com/2009/09/atcs-continued.html
Friday, September 18, 2009. These are the cards I received in the two exchanges I participated in. Needless to say I was quite thrilled to have taken part in the trades but even more delighted to have this small collection of portable art for my very own. But I think it is worth the expense and effort, to have such mini masterpieces to keep and cherish. And these exchanges , like these blogs, brings us closer together as an artistic community. Watercolor Wendy: February 2014
http://watercolorwendy.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
My Window on the World. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Finally back to painting. We've decided to design our family room in a bit of a rustic style reminiscent of a cabin so I thought I should create some artwork for the walls that would help bring the theme together. I have been thinking about bears and wolves mostly. This guy was fun to paint. Usually I leave the background for last and then struggle with what to do with it. This time I decided to jump right in and lay in the background first. Completed p...

Watercolor Wendy: May 2013
http://watercolorwendy.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
My Window on the World. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Illuminating Letters - What Fun! For the first part of this lesson by Val Webb we drew our letter, painted the inside and used white ink to added curlicues and designs inside the letter itself. Today we expanded upon that same design and decorated the outside area. It was so relaxing and fun that I forgot to plan dinner! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Rolf Harris I am not: August 2010
http://rolfharrisiamnot.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Rolf Harris I am not. From stick men and sausage dogs to art that sells. A twelve month tale to see if it's possible for someone who's pretty rubbish at drawing to create art that makes others want to open their wallets. The goal: sell a piece of my art* for £100 by end July 2011. (*to a stranger). Sunday, 22 August 2010. A few minutes dipping into cyberspace, came across Watercolour Muse. And then found a 24 hour painting challenge Virtual pARTy. Can't work out how to register yet, but worth a go! Yeste...

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Another Dimension to Diana. Just wanted to throw in a quick post. As much as I like working the old school skills, I like to take a lot of my art to the next plateau. I am a fan of mixed mediums, and I like giving my fine art a wash through the Photoshop bathtub. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Central New Jersey, United States. I am a life long artist, started at the tender age of five, armed with a box of Crayola Crayons! View my complete profile. Another Dimension to Diana.

The Bull Pen: 6/7/09 - 6/14/09

Sunday, June 7, 2009. Digging into the Past. Since joining the challenge group (DSFDF) I have been forced to rediscover, quite willingly skills I had let fall by the wayside. I was never fond of doing landscapes, not because as others might say, it was out of my comfort level. But because I have honestly , always found them boring. And regrettably, I have lost the other side of art which is the personal expression and interpretation of the soul through art. Abstract art is probably the best vehicle f...
