Watercolor Art society of Williamson County, Texas. WoW minutes for March 9, 2017. Report by Lonnie Shan: Our exhibit at the Jester Annex in Round Rock was well received by employees and visitors. Members brought paintings that they have finished or are working on. A Big Thanks to Larry Sam Taylor and Vicki Goodrich for bringing Aquaboard, QoR samples (Larry Sam) to try out and pieces of Yupo paper (Vicki) to work on during this meeting. It was fun but there were mixed opinions on either or both. If time...

Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Was just wondering - would this qualify for a watercolour. Monday, February 2, 2015. I had an old photograph of Geranium that I thought I will try and put on paper. Perhaps it required more effort than the casual time I spent on it. Well here goes till the next time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). AVA Catch up: Fungus, Winter, Experimental work. ChrispZArt: November 2015
http://chrispzart.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Tuesday, 3 November 2015. Continuing my entry into oil painting I completely painted over an unfinished plein air painting from Longview Road Mulgoa the week before. The initial work was not working well and I am still not satisfied with the rescued work. Perhaps it is the subject. View repainted 10 x 12 inch oil and completed in one session. A bit to much green though. Must watch that. I am still unsure about my oil painting process ...

My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Sunday, 30 October 2016. As you can see, my Art Blog has been dormant for several months. This is as a consequence of the Pearson household being taken over by two English Cocker Spaniel pups, Billy and Penny. I also have been updating our family history backing this up with a DNA test through Ancestry. Here are the few works I missed posting in the intervening period:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My efforts to capture the view on paper. My Favourite Reference Media. Friday, 4 March 2016. When I did get out Plein Air painting I did a sketch looking up the Grose River at Yarramundi on our first outing of the month. My last work was a watercolour at home of York Street, Sydney with the Town Hall at the end. Its a painting I have painted a few years ago from photographs and enjoyable. I am now back to water soluble oil painting so look out for my next monthly report. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
