Rain for a Day. March 11, 2015, Wednesday,7:09 am. It is raining out, which is a very good thing. We are in desperate need of water. My water system will raise rates yet again as much as 20%. Ironically, the raise in rates comes because we are conserving so much, that the water district isn’t making enough money. Go figure. Work is keeping me very busy and tired. Sunday, July 08, 2012. I'm experimenting with a new plant - Solanum muricatum. I picked it up at the Cabrillo plant sale (along with many others). I transplanted it into the greenhouse on 17 June 2012. A couple of fruit had set, but I felt it wasn't thriving in the cool foggy breezes. Plant as it was on June 17th.

Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Pictured above is my re-configured front bed. My husband pulled out the last of the dying lavender. And as much as I hated to see it go, I got to rework this little corner and I'm pretty happy with the change. The blank spot will get some re-located Lavendula stoechas seedlings. Links to this post.
