Cactus, Crasas y demas. Sábado, 2 de abril de 2011. Cuidado de Cactus y Crasas. Muchas de mis amigas me preguntan como cuidar los Cactus y Crasas. Me parecio bien escribir estos cuidados basicos y compartirlos. El cuidado de los cactus depende mucho de las condiciones climáticas del lugar. Todos los cactus desérticos necesitan bastante luz, pero ello no indica que se los exponga al Sol directo, éste no sólo da luz, sino también calor y radiaciones UV que pueden llegar ser muy altas en los días estivales.

Another blog about nothing. Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Fall day at the lake. He gave it to me after the sale of his home. The first date palms planted on the Farm was in 1919. There were about 8 palms lined in front of the orchard, in front of the family home. Spending a lot my childhood on the farm, date season was the favorite time of the year. First date picking/eating was September. As long as there were dates on the tree and the birds were kept at bay, we were all in date heaven! Other blogs I visit.

Garden journal of a greenhorn gringo in the Chihuahuan desert. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Casa Congilio has the post I've been meaning to write on gravel mulch. Only with better writing and photos. Gravel mulch: I like to use stepping stone types of rocks vs. pebbles. Free and plentiful in the Rocky Mtns, maybe not in your area. Because they're flat, debris blows right off them. Plus, tiny indentations in the stones collect water for butterflies. Hmmmm a case of false advertising? Other Desert Garden Blogs.

Another blog about nothing. Friday, May 24, 2013. After finding the hidden quail nest, I made sure they were comfortable with plenty shade and water. Several times a day I would check to make sure the eggs were alright. Two weeks later after checking the nest, I found that all the eggs had hatched and the babies were nowhere in sight!
