There are tunnels off to the sides of this tunnel. Some just seem to be dead ends. Somewhere in the middle is a spiral opening where one of our ward friends repelled accompanied by an archaeologist. Watts Family Goes to Mexico. Monday, March 22, 2010. February 1st is a holiday in Mexico, so we went with some friends to see the ruins at Cacaxtla and Xochitecatla. There were wooden walkways for us to walk on. There were some cool latice structures. We think this was rebuilt since most of the outer stucco is missing from the ruins.
