And Niesling Makes Three. Monday, August 13, 2012. Last year Eric and I decided to enroll Elijah in swim lessons at the local rec center. He loved it so much that we decided to do it again this summer. So every day for two weeks we went to the pool for 30 minutes. He still loves it- especially jumping into the pool! And Niesling Makes Three. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Play, Sing, and Pose. The first one we did last week was from the book First Art: Art Experiences for Toddlers and Twos. It's called "stretchy dough" although I couldn't get it to stretch. It consisted of vegetable oil, water, food coloring, and flour. I think Eli enjoyed it. And Niesling Makes Three. Sunday, April 27, 2014. Happy 4th Birthday Eli! Our big boy is now 4 years old. We celebrated by watching a couple extra Transformers, cake and ice cream with family, opening presents, and playing with new Transformers. He's getting bigger physically as well as in his maturity level and knowledge. It's a joy to see him grow everyday and we're looking forward to seeing the person he comes. While we have been very busy the last year, it has mostly been my procrastinating self that hasn't written anything. I'm going to try my hardest to start giving timely updates. Elijah has been having a great year. He's growing so fast and turning into a wonderful boy. His days have been full of playing, swimming, crafting, and enjoying life. Elijah Julian, age 3. And Niesling Makes Three. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Earlier this month Eli and I went to visit Uncle Jared, Aunt Sarah, and Timothy in Gregory. It was Jared and Sarah's anniversary so I stayed with the boys while they went out for a child-less dinner. The cousins played remarkably well together and both LOVED the piano. I'll post more on the trip later, but I wanted to record what worked and didn't for us during the travel portion of our vacation. Having snacks along went well too. Airplane food is better than I remember (even though you only get it on long trips) but Elijah didn't want to eat it so having the crackers and such along kept him from starving. And Niesling Makes Three. Saturday, April 21, 2012. Now that Elijah is at the age where he spends lots of time entertaining himself, I needed to find hobbies for me. After the busy book. 1 Sewn ABCs for on the plane (Eli wasn't much interested this time). 2 Sewn clutch for passports and money when I didn't have a purse. 3 Crocheted elephant with bow tie for my cousin's baby due in July. Current (no pictures until completed):. 2 project for busy bag exchange - velcroed craft sticks (more on that later).

And Niesling Makes Three. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. On April 27th my baby boy turned 2. Or as he says, twoooooo. The following day we had a birthday party for him. It was pretty relaxed with lots of family, some friends, snacks, present opening, and of course CAKE. We are blessed to have such an amazing little boy and I'm excited to see what the next few years bring. The ladies hanging out in the living room. Playing in Eli's room with cousin Cole. Our family loves to congregate in the kitchen.
