Friday, February 24, 2012. There is not a better smell then fresh cut hay and sweaty work horses. When I work the horses even the dust is tolerable. Sarah often tell me I was born 100 years too late. I would agree until we run out of ice in the freezer. I could not imagine a drink of water without ice! Doc and Doll mowing hay. Mattie Doll and Doc disking. Mattie Doc Doll Midnight Delilah and Major disking. And Mattie on the hay wagon. Midnight and Blue on the harrow. I cannot wait until summer!

Thursday, December 1, 2011. We were still partly in boxes (what am I talking about.we are STILL in boxes) when I decided to schedule our family photos. I was so excited for pictures. It kept my mind from focusing on the move. We did go back to the other house to take a few pictures.just for fun and the memories. In spite of the rain, they turned out pretty good. Friday, May 25, 2012. The LAST day of School. It's that time of year again. I love this time of year (even more than Christmas! The memories are so sweet for me. Camping trips (the few that we did when I was a kid, and the few that we have done with my own family.). Over-nighters in the backyard. The smell of fresh cut grass and alfalfa. The cool night time air while driving past an open alfalfa or cotton field (or orange grove.when they existed! Wagon Rides with "Waylon's Wagon". The list goes on and on.

Welcome to Waylons Wagons. This is a large horse drawn farm wagon built on an early Mc Cormick 12 ton under carriage. This under carriage was most likely used to haul logged trees from the forest of northern Arizona, it was recovered from a field and then over hauled to be used as the platform for the first Waylons Wagon.
