I recently added an iMac with 8Gb Ram, and I use VMWare due to a need to run an oracle database and some of the Oracle utilities. To my horror, the repaint on the XP VM was marginal, and I often found myself doing double takes at the things I had written (more than the usual amount anyway). I tried mucking with the 3D Acceleration on the VM Settings, but that didn't have any effect. Click the Advanced Button.
