It's true, i suck at this whole blogging thing. to the two of you who read this (especially krystal), i'm going to try really hard to get better at it. i promise. they say if you're going to be really awesome at blogging you should blog everyday. i just don't feel like i can be one of those people. so i guess my alternative is every few months? Capturing the day-to-day life of one young family. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. 35 and 36 weeks! What’s new with baby:. Olivia is now about 6 pounds and 18 and 1/2 inches long. she's shedding her downy hair coating and the waxy substance that's been protecting her in the amniotic fluid all this time! Sounds to me like she's about ready to come out! She was head down at my 36 week check-up but there were no other indications that she's ready to meet the world. What’s new with mom:. Baby p weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and is about 6 inches long head to bottom! Baby p can now hear my voice and his/her sensory development is exploding! What’s new with mom:. Mom is amazed that the half way point of pregnancy is tomorrow! Unfortunately my loungy pants are even starting to feel snug! Nothing crazy, but i feel like if i hear about something then i want it!

This weekend i’ve…. 1 seen some amazing friends. 2 held a one-month-old baby – a lot. 3 ate a ton of yummy food (cheesecake factory still to come). 4 gotten myself a couple birthday presents (one from my mom and one from josh). 5 been happy to be away from my internship (even though i’ve still written 3 clinical notes and thought about it more than necessary). 6 seen my adorable godson who is getting HUGE (he’s 17 months old now! A Year of Slow Cooking.
