My Summer in Ghana. June 27, 2011. I arrived in Cape Coast today. Haven’t seen a whole lot, but the hotel is awesome. It’s a botel actually, because I think the whole thing is technically a boat. There is a pool, free wireless and a weight room so I’m good to go! There is a big floating restaurant with crocodiles all over the place. There are also cool birds. I am living there as a part of a study abroad program. My Summer in Ghana. Today was definitely the best day I’ve had here thus far. After swimming in the morning, a few of us went to this school north of the city. Some Rastafarians we met playing basketball operate the school and they invited us out. They call their school Children of God but it is pretty Unitarian. It was an amazing experience.
