Carly Hardy's Art Cottage. Ethel Wilson cultivated an appreciation for art while living in Chicago, known for its fine galleries and art museums. She left the Windy City and moved to Crescent, Ga., in June 2006. Wilson was encouraged to try her hand at painting by her friend Serena Hall. It’s been a year since Wilson began her painting class. Philadelphia native Loretta Pressley doesn’t see the world the same way since she moved to McIntosh County, Georgia – her husband’s hometown – and learned to paint. 8220;I was never aware of my surroundings before I started painting,” she said. “I used to just look at the clouds. After retiring, she returned to her Coastal Georgia hometown, where she now resides. 8220;I have always admired. Carly Hardy's Art Cottage. A native of Dothan, Ala., Serena Hall is the organizer of Cultural Expressions. She moved from Atlanta to Darien in 2007. A year later, she took her first art class at the McIntosh Art Association, at her husband’s suggestion. She has always loved bright colors in crafts, paintings, and fabrics.
