WCS Sierra Leone Project. Tuesday, 12 February 2013. A slightly earlier start to Monday saw the group exchanging their money into Leones. We all felt like millionaires with our piles of cash each worth 250000 each, that was until Mr Meally emerged with a sackful rumoured to be worth 2.9 million! Next we were off to the Ballanta where the musicians gave their first lessons of the week. Axl was in an open air basement, and Josh gave a bass lesson to 15 people with only 1 guitar!

WCS Sierra Leone Project. Wednesday, 19 February 2014. Sunday, 20th Oct 2013. For lunch we went to Cafe Retro, all very appreciative of a cool can of coke! The menu was varied with pizzas and omelettes. Despite the bother of a few flies and the scorching heat we had a delightful meal. The humidity and the heat meant everyone was ready for a cool dip in the pool. Piggy in the middle was a popular game with Alice regularly in the middle! Simple template. Powered by Blogger.
