Saturday, August 30, 2014. Come, Follow Me! Kate is teaching Sunday school in this lesson! Huge, huge, huge for this girl! This is a lesson we have in our program at church (the Promiseland Curriculum from Willowcreek.fabulous.) Jesus calls the 12 disciples. We do use dolls. We tried to find boy dolls when we first began the curriculum. Don't google "boy dolls" it does not end well! I knew right away when I went in the bedroom what Kate had set up. What a treasure for me to see it alive in my own home.

Thursday, May 15, 2014. We made cloud dough the other day. It is something we did in sensory class at our homeschool co-op this session. It's simply flour and oil. The girls (and Jack) enjoyed it for awhile. We made it in the morning (Tuesday.). Tuesday was a particularly long day because, we stayed home all day, then Ron had a meeting in the evening. We got the cloud dough out in the evening. The second go around did not go as well. It got a little more physical! Thankfully I'm not real thrown by messes.

Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Sunday after church Regan needed to take her skirt out to the fairgrounds. Her skirt is the pink one in the top left. Regan has participated in the 4-H group Sew Sew Sweet this year. She wanted to learn to sew and I thought this would be a good way for her to learn, since I don't know how to sew. She enjoyed her first year, learned a lot, and is looking forward to another project next year. This fall/winter, Regan is going to try to make some pajama pants on her own.

Monday, May 18, 2015. We had a fun, and informative, trip to Lakeview Cemetary last week. We all agreed it's a place we would like to spend some more time exploring. It was interesting viewing the Wade Chapel and hearing the history and explanation of its design. For Mother's Day, Mason and I went down to the Q for a Cavs simulcast game.
