http://slewisfamily.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Our Life’s Lullaby. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Today was Khylee's last day of first grade. I am so proud of her and what she accomplished this year but I am so sad because she is really growing up too fast. Everyone always told me that time really flies when you have kids but you never realize just how much time goes by. My baby is officially a second grader! She was so excited to take the "rags" out and see if her beautiful curls turned out. After unwrapping each "rag," here was the result. Khylee got a ne...

Our Life’s Lullaby...: BYU--Pros and Cons
http://slewisfamily.blogspot.com/2011/04/byu-pros-and-cons.html
Our Life’s Lullaby. Sunday, April 17, 2011. BYU- Pros and Cons. Recently I have been looking into Master's Programs. I haven't decided if I want to get a MA in Special Ed, Math, or ELL. I have a strong passion for math and special education (both of which I wanted to do in high school). Currently I am a math specialist and I LOVE it! BYU has so many pros and cons. And I have listed some of them:. Tuition prices are amazing. Housing prices are reasonable. Only a 9 hour drive to DISNEYLAND! You would have ...

Monday, January 27, 2014. Cashier: So, any surprises with motherhood? Customer: Nope, not so far. Cashier: Is it harder than you expected it to be? Customer: Well, some things are easier, some things are harder. It is much easier to go shopping without a baby, I have learned". I'm sitting here thinking "oh just wait, there will be surprises. The cashier says to her "It will get easier". I think to myself "oh, when they move out? Finally, I said "yeah, it's hard, but it is so worth it.most days". As I typ...

Tuesday, September 18, 2012. I decided it would be beneificial for me to keep a good record on how the antidepressants are reacting in my system. Week One: I feel very abscent minded. I am having a hard time concentrating and have lost my purse several times today. It never moved. Not once. I am struggling with words which has never been a problem with me. I'm not as quick to yell so far. Maybe that's just the placebo affect though. Hmmm. My appetite has been surpressed. I'll take that. haha! Our favorit...

family: This Christmas time
http://puhlman.blogspot.com/2014/12/this-christmas-time.html
Tuesday, December 23, 2014. I want to share something that I want my children to always remember. As they look back on this blog I hope they see how much good there is. I hope they see the tender mercies of the Lord in the life that we have been blessed with. Don, Zach and I went to Spokane to do some shopping. It was a blessing too that my little brother and his wife had also gone that day. They invited us for lunch and even paid the bill. Such wonderful blessings in our lives. I am just so grateful for...

The Hillmans: 9 months old!
http://stephhillman.blogspot.com/2013/06/9-months-old.html
After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." - Aldous Huxley. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. It's hard to believe my sweet boy is already 9 months old! A few days ago) The time has flown by and I find the newborn days are quickly fading behind me. In many ways it is super sad to me and in others I want to run screaming through the streets that I only have 3 more months of buying formula! Now when we throw away the last diaper that will be cause for serious celebration!

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." - Aldous Huxley. Monday, September 10, 2012. First Day of School! I have been so lame at my blog the last few months and it has come time to get back in the swing of things! There is too much that I want to not forget and when I don't blog it just disappears into the past so here we go! It is just like Kindergarten, every day half day. So she is loving that and has a really nice teacher named Miss Murphy. I will try and po...
