Free offensive computer security class from FSU. The instructors for CIS4930/5930 at FSU. Has graciously started uploading videos and class materials for their offensive security class. This stuff looks really great, and according to the Reddit thread, they plan on doing the same for an offensive network security class in the fall.

How I was able to track the location of any Tinder user. I don’t think a lot of app developers think about how easy it is to see the chatter between their app and their API. It’s bad for any app, but location-based apps like this are ripe targets for some pretty nasty attacks. I think it’s only going to get worse as more apps pop up that use the GPS so precisely.

This method grabs the DNS cache, yes. And it MD5s the entries, then it stores it. This method itself does nothing more with the hashes. For all we know VAC could be doing a LOCAL scan of the list, and comparing it to an internal list of “known” cheat subscription servers.
