The Society at High House welcomes everyone to join them at their regular Sunday services at 10.45am. As part of an Organised Church Group. Small independent folk museum which was established by volunteers in 1985 Though entirely voluntary the museum operates to the highest standards and contains the Weardale Tapestry. The museum is located about 3 mile from Stanhope in Westgate. Tourist information centre, pleasant tearoom, and craft shops in Stanhope, a short walk from the cottage with helpful staff. Magnificent fine art museum in Barnard Castle, building is in the style of a French chateau.
