http://theandersongazette.blogspot.com/2011/12/turkey-trot.html
Tuesday, December 20, 2011. We signed up to run in a Turkey Trot this year. Ian was nice to run the 1 mile race with the kids so I could run the 5 mile race. Kaiya and Ezra had ran a mile a few times to make sure they could run the whole time. They were so excited to be in a race. I think the high that day was 32 degrees! Here we are before the race. We had different starting places so we had to separate after this. He was such a trooper! It was such a fun race we are doing it every year! I like taking K...

Andersonville: Family Vacation- Disney World
http://theandersongazette.blogspot.com/2011/12/family-vacation-disney-world.html
Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Family Vacation- Disney World. Nadia is at the perfect age for Disney. She was mesmerized and the look on her face when she saw the Princesses was worth all the craziness! The kids had so much fun, they kept asking us when we were going back again. We kept telling them we hadn't even left yet. I took about 200 pictures and I wish I knew how to put my pictures into a collage like so many people do but here are some photos of our trip. December 14, 2011 at 3:31 AM. DW is a great...

Andersonville: October 2011

Monday, October 24, 2011. Time Out for Women. A few weekends ago, I was able to go to Time Out for Women in Cincinnatti. It was my first time going to an event like this and I didn't have any kids with me! We got ourselves a hotel room and had a blast. The speakers were great and it was so nice to feel the spirit so strongly and really, it was just so nice to feel the spirit for myself. Sundays have been so crazy with kids and callings that being able to just sit and listen was heavenly. JAN 29, 2011.

Andersonville: May 2011
http://theandersongazette.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Kaiya had 2 art pieces that were chosen to be displayed at the District Art Show. It's always fun for the kids to see all the art work displayed. They were inspired by some of the high school art work. Some of them were amazing! It's so fun to talk to other women and see all their goodness. I have always been surrounded by women with amazing faith, knowledge, love, creativity, humor, and trust. What great examples they are! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Turner family (S and J).

Thursday, February 2, 2012. Happy Birthday to Nadia and Ellia! Nadia turned 4 and Ellia turned 2 in January. I thought I'd press the easy button this year and have a big combined party for the girls. What better place to have it than the gym they go to for gymnastics? The girls LOVE gymnastics so it was the perfect place to have a party. They were so excited to show all their friends the gym. We are missing a few kids here.We had 19 kiddos running around! I wan money", "No, my turn! No, this one! She can...

Andersonville: April 2011
http://theandersongazette.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 29, 2011. The night before Easter. Do you think the Easter Bunny will do what he did the last 2 times? A Scavendure Hunt. Remember, we get a ton of clues and then. Last time, we got Wii Cooking Mama Cookoff and then. The year before that we got a Mario game. Ohhhh, that's right. I totally forgot about that. I guess we'll see. The kids woke up and were surprised to see their baskets gone in the morning, (they leave it next to their beds), and found one plastic egg. Ezra found his in the dryer.

Andersonville: Christmas 2011
http://theandersongazette.blogspot.com/2012/01/christmas-2011.html
Monday, January 30, 2012. Christmas was a lot of fun. My 2 sisters and their families, my mom, and my aunt and cousin (who I have not seen since she was 4! Came to visit. It was so nice to spend the week together. Our yearly tradition of making gingerbread houses. We usually have Japanese food for our Christmas dinner but since my aunt and cousin were coming, we had a turkey and ham dinner. Yes, I am the shortest of all of us! Me and my sisters. The last time we all got together was about 2 years ago.

Friday, July 29, 2011. And now June events. CELEBRATING KAIYA'S 9th BIRTHDAY. Kaiya is not much of a cake lover but she sure does love cheesecake! This year, she wanted to celebrate with her cousins. Before we left for vacation, we had a glorified playdate with all her friends and her favorite treats. Cheesecake, chili conqueso, and fruit. None of her friends knew what chili con queso was. Maybe it's a Texas thing. They all tried it and gobbled it up. Kaiya and cousin Mika. Ezra and cousin Ethan. The kid...
