July 14th, 2015. What are Mobile Clinics? Mobile health clinics are a cost-effective method to enable delivery of primary care and preventive services to underserved populations. In many regions of Kenya, it takes hours of travel to reach the nearest health center. To ensure that people are being cared for, why not bring the medical care to them? Most mobile clinics consist of nurses, health workers and a driver. They visit different communities and schools and return to each site for follow-up care.
