Monday, October 25, 2010. Fall break has come and gone. So fast! We kept very busy though. Thursday we took a trip to the Indianapolis Zoo. It was Andrew's first time at the zoo and I think he had a good time. He really like the Ocean with all the fish and sharks. He actually reached into the shark pool to pet a shark! Matthew and Adam had fun showing him around the place. But being new the camping world we opted for one night and two long days. We survived, had a good time, and will do it again!

Monday, October 11, 2010. I am just going to pick-up here like I have been posting for the past 5 months. What can I say, it was summer and we have been busy! We spent a week in July in Grand Haven, Michigan in a little house we rented along the beach. Our other Bratt. Relatives spent the week with us as well. Matthew, Adam, and Erol. As soon as the boys were off the bus we were in the van headed to St. Louis for Christmas with Mike's Dad and Carol. Here is a short list of the highlights of the last 6 months:. 1) Tucker turned 1 on 3.24.11. 2) Adam was promoted to Rig Manager in April. 3) We put our house on the market in May. 4) We got a visit from Adam's mom. 5) We took a trip to Destin, FL in July. 6) We have had 2 new nannies since June (pray that this one is a keeper). What's Happening with the Hesses? Thursday, October 28, 2010. We celebrated Halloween a little early this year. Since we were in Indiana earlier this month, we thought Tucker should trick or treat the grandparents. Here he is in his skunk costume. We enjoyed our trip home since we were able to stay over a week. We drove this time and Tucker did great. I think it helped that we drove overnight :). We have another trip planned for Thanksgiving. He weighs in at just under 25 lbs and is in the 99th percentile for height, weight and head circumference. Our pediatrician even told us he may be bigger than his Daddy. Watch out world! He is crawling all over the place, standing up to things and "cruising" along the couch, table, chairs, etc. He has taken a step or two on his own. Any day now. His favorite things to get into are Bentley's food and water bowl, the fireplace and the TV stand. We're always on our toes these days :). Riding his new toy.

What's Happening with the Hesses? Friday, August 20, 2010. Tucker has discovered Bentley and loves when he gets close to him. Bentley still pretty much ignores Tucker, but occasionally will come in for a sniff. When he gets close, Tucker closes his eyes (probably due to the constant sniffing/snorting and spraying of spit that pugs do) and then laughs. So Cute! Sunday, August 15, 2010. Growin up on me.
