We'd had a pretty snow-free winter up till the day before, then the weather really kicked in and we had deep snow for the big event. Is it really beyond the resources of all the thousands of people that knew the Vag to raise this small sum to buy it and reopen it in all its glory? Surely the odds are that at least a few ex-Vagabonders have been successful enough to buy the place outright? I know at least two people who would happily manage the place on their behalf!
