At the moment we are. Wednesday, 5 December 2012. It was predicted by the met office. I had a feeling in my bones before we'd even moved that this winter would get off to a snowy start, based on nothing concrete. Sometimes I'm scared to think things in case the universe is listening and decides to take my thoughts and make them real. And now I sound completely mad. At the moment we are. Tuesday, 16 July 2013. When I grow up I shall be a mechanic librarian priest. According to Mb, who has just turned nine years old, this is what he will be when he is an adult. Not able to settle on one single career, he has gone for a whole host of them. He loves reading and he loves tinkering. Which explains the first two, but the third? I'm not sure where that has come from. I think that he is quite possibly searching for a career that doesn't involve finding a significant other.

Summer was just too summery. It did at times feel endless - in a good way. Overall it was very dry, and there were plenty of sunny days to enjoy. Friday, May 22, 2015. Our spring has been busy: finishing, celebrating, visiting, living. Between the Spring Concert for Calliope, the women's choir Eliza and I sing with, and a trip up to New Jersey for me, we thought we'd squeeze in two days seeing two aunts, two uncles, a grampa, a great aunt, my cousins and my mom (shoo!
