Sunday, July 25, 2010. Pioneer Day 5K Run. The Minneapolis Stake had it's 50th Anniversary this year and for the 24th we decided to do a Pancake breakfast and a 5K. There were over 200 runners and about another 150 walkers. They did the 5K around Purgatory Lake in Eden Prairie. It was a great morning for a race. Here's one little guy that wanted to run so bad that after the race he took his daddy's number and started to run. Here's my 5K Champion. Reed did great! You look GREAT Allie! The men in my life.

Be An Adult Week Outcome. Okay, Be An Adult Week has come and gone and I think it went very well. There are always items still left on the to-do list but the fact that I crossed off several that were months or more overdue, it feels worth it. Cleaned out our car. I went to see my doctor for a routine visit, and she noticed my BP was up and protein was starting to show up in my urine. I was admitted to the hospital to see if they could get my BP to come down. Friday, August 1, 2008. Art Camp - Week #2. Once again, we had a fabulous group of artists join us at art camp. We learned about Claude Monet, Eric Carle, Mary Cassatt and Andy Warhol and tried their techniques. Our campers are ready for the Olympics with their homemade American flags and will go back to school with their decoupaged clipboards.
