V-Strom – SW Motech Auxiliary lights – How hard can it be?
https://eugenereisch.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/v-strom-sw-motech-auxiliary-lights
How hard can it be? I'm talking to myself, aren't I? Eugene’s Old Site. V-Strom – SW Motech Auxiliary lights. July 11, 2009. July 11, 2009. I’m a big fan of being seen one the road – it might just keep me alive! With that in mind, I’ve fitted some SW Motech auxiliary light to my V-Strom’s engine bars. Then just fit the lights and the switch and connect it all up – easy! You can see the optional light mountings that you need to mount the lights to your engine bars. Add some cable tidy to finish the job!

V-Strom – Fehling Engine Bars – How hard can it be?

How hard can it be? I'm talking to myself, aren't I? Eugene’s Old Site. V-Strom – Fehling Engine Bars. July 11, 2009. July 11, 2009. OK, so the next mod is the engine bars. I’m under no illusion that they’d actually save my bike from major damage should I ever had an accident, but they look good, might save the plastics in a minor spill and I can mount my auxiliary lights to them. To save anyone else the wasted time, longer spacer in the top bolt, thinner fat spacer for the bottom bolt!

V-Strom – MRA screen – How hard can it be?
https://eugenereisch.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/v-strom-mra-screen
How hard can it be? I'm talking to myself, aren't I? Eugene’s Old Site. V-Strom – MRA screen. July 11, 2009. Ok, so the stock screen is crap – everyone acknowledges that. I didn’t like the look of the Givi one and because my bike’s a K3 it doesn’t have the adjustable screen mountings, so my choices were limited. I’ve opted for the MRA Touring screen. It’s tinted, has an adjustable aerofoil and just about does the job. Looks good, does the job! V-Strom – Fehling Engine Bars. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

How hard can it be? I'm talking to myself, aren't I? Eugene’s Old Site. V-Strom – Beowulf Exhausts – fitted! July 11, 2009. July 11, 2009. They sound as good as they look! Took all of about 1/2 hour – really simple job – loosen the hanging bolts, pillion footrest mounts and link pipe clamp bolts and the stock pipes slip right off. Then just slip on the new ones – was very simple and they look and sound great! V-Strom – Beowulf Exhausts. V-Strom – Fehling Engine Bars. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

V-Strom – Handlebar Risers – How hard can it be?
https://eugenereisch.wordpress.com/2009/05/08/v-strom-handlebar-risers
How hard can it be? I'm talking to myself, aren't I? Eugene’s Old Site. V-Strom – Handlebar Risers. May 8, 2009. To make the bike perfectly comfortable for me I’ve opted for the SW Motech ‘up and back’ risers. They look pretty nice and make the seating position perfect. Might need to free up the brake hoses a bit as they are stretched a little on full lock. New bike – A DL1000 V-Strom! V-Strom – Beowulf Exhausts. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
