I was intending to write about our visit to Manhattan to see the parents and their new dwelling place. We did have a fantastic visit and however not getting a full tour of the house we were able to creep around the outside and peer inside the windows. It looked like a good house. I'm happy he's here. Life is a Zoo. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Let's just say that we expect to live to about 85 years old. That's a little more than the average life expectancy right now, but I think we could do it. It was really nice to get away for a couple of days and we were blessed with glorious sunshine (I got burnt in April! We stayed in a youth hostel and visited the usual sights - The Book of Kells, Guinness Brewery, Kilmainham Gaol, Docks, Temple Bar and listened to live music. Here are some pics. Ramblings on our lives in Scotland and adventures home and abroad. Friday, June 22, 2007. Trip to the Highlands. Becky arrived last Friday and we took a wee trip to the West Coast. Did a spot of sea kayaking in the sound between the Applecross peninsula and the Islands of Rona and Raasay. Spent a night in Fort William and danced at the Ben Nevis Inn.
