Eureca Summer 2k11

Monday, July 11, 2011. Week 4(slash)5 sorry, been a little bit of a slacker. So, I actually have a lot of progress to report this week! As of last Friday, I have mostly finished the MatLab portion of my project and am now starting on the Java part. This summer has been a little different than I expected. I did not think I would be doing as much programming as I have been, but surprisingly, it has been really good! Sounds so exciting right? Just not the 5 am part… :/. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Eureca Summer 2k11: Just another week in paradise... aka A-town (peace up. A-town..)

http://weavereureca.blogspot.com/2011/06/just-another-week-in-paradise-aka-town.html

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Just another week in paradise. aka A-town (peace up. A-town.). So, this week was a little on the interesting side. I finally felt like I was getting into the groove of things, got MatLab on my own personal computer, Macky (I know, original)… Life long dream now complete. I can do MatLab at home! No more running up to Zachary at 1 in the Am to finish a matlab project. (A&M shoutout whooopppp). To my surprise, what I wanted to prove had already been proven many times over. View my...

Eureca Summer 2k11: It's that time of the week again... NUMBER 2!

http://weavereureca.blogspot.com/2011/06/its-that-time-of-week-again-number-2.html

Wednesday, June 22, 2011. It's that time of the week again. NUMBER 2! Blog For Week Number 2:. We mainly just walked around with metal platforms that had circuits all over them and physically delivered bundles from source to sink. It was so cool to practically see the stuff that I read and hypothesize about. Next week, I will begin starting my matlab simulations and formulating my project idea. I am a little worried that the idea is not all that original… but we shall soon see! View my complete profile.

Monday, June 13, 2011. Before we dive into how I will be spending the next 8 weeks as my last summer as an undergraduate, let me just go ahead and introduce myself. I am about to embark on my senior (and yes, sadly my last) year at Texas A&M university(whooppp! Weaver-out (not to be confused with "Lemon-out", the common catch phrase of Liz Lemon off of 30 rock). Extensible Undergraduate Research in Communications Applications. Greetings, my name is Sushen Patel and I am a junior at UT Austin. I was very excited to participate in this program when I arrived, and to be lucky enough to work in Austin for the summer. The only downside is the scorching 100 degree heat! It was a fun first day! Over the next few days, we all made our decisions on which lab to work in. I am about to embark on my senior (and yes, sadly my last) year at Texas A&M university(whooppp!

Our Life for God's Glory

Our Life for God's Glory. Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6. Saturday, April 12, 2014. Our Life in the Mountains of Haiti. Finally, after almost three years of living in Leogane, not far off the coast of Haiti, we were able and very happy to make our move to the mountains on February 19, 2014. Life here is quite dramatically different from living in Leogane;. Cool, damp air versus heat and dust. Quiet country life versus noisy city life. Thank you, Jesus!
