Clive City Council Blog. Thursday, March 10, 2011. The Clive City Council voted on the upcoming fiscal year budget during last Thursday's (March 3rd) meeting. As promised, I voted against the budget because of the 1% across the board. Nevertheless, the budget was passed 4-1. The Des Moines Register has a nice write-up in this morning's paper summarizing the budget discussion -. I would appreciate any feedback you may have on this issue as it is a rather contentious one. Clive City Council Blog. Sunday, January 9, 2011. 2011 Fiscal Year Budget. The City’s 2011 fiscal year budget is scheduled for submission to the State in March (Iowa fiscal year runs July – June). Thus city staff, council members, and residents serving on the Citizens Budget Committee have been working hard to put together the upcoming year’s budget.
