Fall Concert Series | Life in Flavours
https://lifeinflavours.wordpress.com/2012/09/27/fall-concert-line-up
Dispatches and delicious detours. September 27, 2012. I’ve recently embraced the Island concert scene, and apparently decided to do it all or not at all. Sunday night I kicked off my fall concert spree with The Shins and Washed Out. The crowd was clad in horn rims and starched plaid, and despite sporting my Toms I was feeling a little sans-bird for this hipster crew. My fall concert line-up is heavy on the Canadian Indie rock like a Radio 2. The Shins, Live at the Royal Theatre. The Shins and Washed Out.

Staging a comeback | Life in Flavours

Dispatches and delicious detours. September 10, 2012. Well, Hello there, friends (or have I lost you all? Allow me to cut to the chase: I’ve lost my will power. It’s flown the coop, and perhaps like myself, it’s setting a new set of rules. Fortunately, I’ve also been marathon training so I still feel in relatively good shape. (Since when did marathon training just achieve “relatively good shape”? This mental enigma reminds me of this great post. So, what does a highly motivated person do about it? Then, ...

https://lifeinflavours.wordpress.com/2012/09/21/3-2-1-morning-blast-off
Dispatches and delicious detours. 3…2…1…Morning Blast Off. September 21, 2012. Knock-on-wood, I’m feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed these days! I’ve been getting up early all week to enjoy a coffee, read, and then head out the door for a great morning run. It took that extra push of motivation. To roll over all week and convince myself that one more hour of sleep would be more beneficial than any early morning regime. Eureka! I feel jim-dandy for giving myself this morning solace. Splash of almond milk.

Dispatches and delicious detours. Meatless in the Mountains. September 18, 2012. The report from meatless-treatless land: Smooth sailing, sunny skies, and kinda relaxing. Last week, I felt inspired to set some guidelines to recharge my will power. My sudden tossing of ice cream and muffins received both applause and dissidence. SWEET! I must be doing something right in this blogosphere! Alright jury: I wasn’t 100% meatless-treatless for the entire week, but I came pretty darn close! 2 avocados, cubed.

Dispatches and delicious detours. September 14, 2012. A blog I follow, Nice and Knit. Is hosting a fall sweater “knit-along” for three weeks, starting Sept 22. With each new post, I am always impressed by this sister duo’s creative and challenging knits, speedy productivity, and spectacular yarn photos.
