I declare →. January 2, 2013 · 3:44 pm. Safety: No Job is so Important…. I used to work for a large company with a well-publicized safety policy. One must also be aware of safety in weaving: being careful near the looms and cutting tools. I encourage my students to practice safe weaving habits, and I often warn them about storing scissors on the tops of the shafts. You certainly don’t want them to fall and cut your warp! I declare →. Pilgrimage: Tours →. September 6, 2012 · 1:03 pm. More on the summer pilgrimage —. At HGA’s Convergence conference. Vendors from all over the world set up so shoppers can try out looms, spinning wheels, and accessories. One can find books, yarns and fibers, dyes, buttons and trims, ethnic textiles and handmade art wear… you name it! I tried to restrain myself, but I just could not resist a few new tools and specialty yarns. Pilgrimage: Tours →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Weaving The Threads Of Community. Weaving is my meditation and spiritual communion. Guiding thousands of threads into place, winding bobbins on the porch where I can hear the birds, finding myself still in awe of a length of finished cloth these are all ways that I feel connected to the the divine and to the world around me. I hope that my handmade garments help to remind people of their connections to others.

Weaving My Life
